April 9 5pm Classroom Session (Mandatory)
April 9 & 10: 6:30-8:30pm On-Ice Sessions Goulds Arena

Craig Peddle, who is Hockey Canada Skills Certified will be running a Blizzard U15 Checking & Body Contact Clinic. Body contact will be introduced to 2011 players entering U15 hockey next Fall and 2010 players who need proper technique teaching and practice. We will be holding this high-performance program due to the strong demand in learning the proper techniques of using your body to protect the puck or to separate an opposing player from the puck. Checking is a critical skill that can create quality scoring opportunities, and when taught effectively, can greatly enhance a player’s enjoyment of the game. Becoming familiar with Body Contact is necessary to avoid any injuries or challenges while playing hockey.
